Consignment Policies Page
All items must be washed or dry cleaned, free of stains and holes, and free of smoke or odors. Items must be in recent fashion or vintage quality, as well as in season. Items that we do not accept are formal gowns, wedding gowns, prom dresses, and suits. We reserve the right to donate any items found to be stained or damaged.
Consignors receive 50% of the selling price of each item.
Mountain Chic sets the asking price of each time. We are open to hearing input from our consignor’s.
Items are consigned for 3 months or 90 days. All items that are not sold after 90 days are able to be picked up. Items not picked up will become the property of Mountain Chic Consignment. The time frame for pick up after the 90 days is 7 days after that 90-day mark.
Items will be marked down 25% after 30 days and then 50% after 60 days.
Items are subject to special sales such as holiday or a discount voucher.
Consignor’s can check on their account balance anytime.
Our store is not responsible for stolen items.
We will set a limit of two (2) bags of clothing at a time.
Items are to be dropped off during our regular business hours. Please make sure your name is marked on the bags and inside the bags. Please provide a master list of all items.
We will have each customer dropping off clothing sign in and if you are a new customer signing Mountain Chic’s Consignment Policy contract.
SPRING: February 1 – March 31
SUMMER: April 1 – June 15
FALL: August 1 – September 30
WINTER: October 1 – December 15
